ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

:{ christy thrasher }:

 

Since 2005 the Nebraska native has created and executed award-winning designs in collaboration with acclaimed architects and interior design firms for projects around the globe.

Focusing in the luxury hospitality space, Christy designs brand standards—identities, collateral, environmental graphics and signage—for a variety of clients including hotels, developers and private corporations. 

Working for over a dozen years as chief design director and brand strategist for the formerly Santa Monica-based Louey/Rubino Design Group, Thrasher's designs were instrumental in launching overall standards for large hospitality chains such as Rosewood Hotels and several Hyatt brands, as well as overseeing numerous projects for luxury corporations including Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton.

Since the launch of Thrasher Design Studio, Christy has continued to design for a diverse range of client projects worldwide, from real estate to retail, finance to non-profit.

A mystic poet at heart, driven by an insatiable curiousity for knowledge, she finds satisfaction exploring the unexpected in order to innovate creative solutions, while uncovering harmony between space and occupant, object and subject.
